Guan Eng Urged To Return Land

GEORGE TOWN -- The Penang Malay Congress has urged Penang Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng to use two mechanisms to return a land once earmarked for a mosque and a school in Bayan Mutiara.
Its president, Rahmad Isahak said Lim could reacquire the land or ask the developer to return it to the state government on its own accord.
"It is not too late because no plan had been submitted yet by the developer. It is still at the planning stage," Rahmad told reporters here on Friday.
He said simultaneously, the chief minister should make a public apology for wrongly selling the land in Bayan Mutiara to a developer.
Rahmad also urged Deputy Chief Minister Mansor Othman and State Religious Affairs, Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs Committee chairman Abdul Malik Abul Kassim to clarify on the issue within 24 hours, failing which they should resign.
Ingat lagi Kg Buah Pala?
